DESCRIPTION:\n\nOne Health\, the Exposome\, and Lifecourse Health and Disea
 se\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Metabolomics and Human Health GRC is a premier\, i
 nternational scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of s
 cience through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research\,
  prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal i
 nteractions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program 
 includes an array of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and
  organizations worldwide\, concentrating on the latest developments in the
  field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to 
 increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities\, with
  lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks\, th
 e conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of a
 ll career stages\, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for in
 formal networking opportunities with leaders in the field.\n\n\nMetabolomi
 cs\, the comprehensive study of small molecules present in cells\, tissues
 \, and biological fluids\, provides a powerful approach to understanding h
 ow genetic\, environmental\, microbial\, and lifestyle factors influence h
 uman physiology and disease. Since metabolites represent the downstream pr
 oducts of biological activity\, the metabolome offers an integrative reado
 ut of the biological state of the individual which connects molecular mech
 anisms with environmental exposures and health outcomes. The 2027 Metabolo
 mics and Human Health GRC will highlight emerging directions in metabolomi
 cs research within the broader context of the exposome\, One Health\, and 
 lifecourse biology. One Health is an approach that recognizes that human h
 ealth is closely connected to the health of animals\, plants\, and the sur
 rounding environment. By adopting collaborative\, multisectoral\, and tran
 sdisciplinary strategies\, the One Health framework emphasizes the interco
 nnected relationships between environmental systems\, biological processes
 \, and human health. It also recognizes that many pharmaceuticals and ther
 apeutic compounds originate from natural environments and nutritional sour
 ces. Within this conference\, we highlight research that integrates One He
 alth perspectives with metabolomics to better understand the complex inter
 actions among environmental exposures\, microbiome activity\, nutrition\, 
 and host metabolism. Sessions will showcase advances in analytical technol
 ogies\, computational and systems biology approaches\, and innovative appl
 ications of metabolomics in areas such as chronic disease\, developmental 
 origins of health and disease\, microbiome–metabolome interactions\, nut
 rition and metabolism across the lifespan\, and the development and monito
 ring of clinical interventions. Consistent with the Gordon Research Confer
 ence format\, the meeting emphasizes the presentation of cutting-edge and 
 unpublished research while prioritizing extended discussion and informal s
 cientific exchange. The five-day residential conference brings together in
 vestigators from academia\, industry\, and government agencies in a settin
 g designed to foster open dialogue\, mentorship\, and collaboration across
  career stages. Poster sessions provide opportunities for trainees and inv
 estigators at all levels to present their work\, while shared meals and sc
 heduled free time facilitate informal networking and scientific interactio
