An Early Career Event in the afternoon/evening of September 27th 2026 and a Mass Spectrometry Imaging Get-Together event in the afternoon of September 30th 2026 are planned.
The Early Career workshop will feature talks around the theme of “Career Paths in Metabolomics”. Two academic speakers, Professor Tuulia Hyötyläinen (Örebro University, Sweden) and Associate Professor Julia Debik (ECR at NTNU, Norway) will talk about their career experiences within the Nordic University system. Dr. Cristian De Gobba from Bruker will give a perspective on career pathways in industry. This will be followed by a social mixer with food and drinks. The location of this workshop: “Scandic Hotels Uplandia” (Dragarbrunnsgatan 32, 753 20 Uppsala).
The program for the MSI get together will continue at the UKK location for up to 2 hours and include:
Introduction, Educational session, Who is who, and mapping MSI research and interests in the Nordic countries.
